The 1st International Symposium on Tumor-Host Interaction in Head and Neck Cancer will be held from 22–24 January 2015 in Essen, Germany, and continues the series of annual meetings on experimental head and neck oncology in collaboration with the Working Group Oncology of the German Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology.

International experts on an emerging and relevant topic in head and neck oncology will attend the meeting in order to exchange and discuss the most recent developments in the field. The conference will bring together young and senior scientists to encourage a lively exchange. Innovative topics in Head and Neck Oncology will be presented and discussed by renowned invited speakers from all over the world.

The symposium will be held in Essen, the center of the Rhine-Ruhr area, which will serve as a wonderful venue for this conference and guarantees both, high-level scientific discussions plus relaxation and exploration of the history of the Ruhr area.
